ESIA Submission: CFI EE methods proposed changes & revocations, 16 Dec 2022
The ESIA does not support proposed revocations to the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI) Energy Efficiency (EE) methods as proposed by the Clean Energy Regulator. The ESIA calls for reversal of the Commercial & Public Lighting activity revocation which occurred without due process in May 2022 (and is explored in this submission). The ESIA has mixed responses to proposed changes to the CFI EE methods and calls for genuine and timely ongoing stakeholder engagement and consultation. The timeliness of this consultation prior to the Commonwealth government's response to the ACCU Integrity Review is not ideal.
